Well known Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir was injured after he was shot at in Karachi today. Mir, a senior anchor with Geo News, was attacked after his vehicle was ambushed by motorcyclists near a bridge, reported Geo News. He is being treated for bullet injuries. Mir was going from Karachi airport to his office when his vehicle was ambushed. Reacting to the news, PTI chief Imran Khan said on Twitter: Shocked & saddened by attack on Hamid Mir in Karachi. Strongly condemn growing threats/attacks on journalists. Govt must ensure their safety. ( Malik Mukhtar )
