Well...our vacation isnt quite over. We drove from Cape San Blas, Florida to Tennessee on Saturday. That trip went smoothly. We stayed in TN on Saturday night. Yesterday while driving around Pigeon Forge, our van starting acting strange and several lights appeared on the dash. We stopped at an auto parts store for a quick diagnosis and the guy said that 8 codes were coming up on his machine...all indicating transmission! Nice. This is a 2002 Honda Odyssey with about 170,000 miles (of which my husband likes to say, Im just braking it in...well maybe on his Camry). After a long discussion about what do and how to get home, we decided to rent a U haul truck with a car trailer and we are going to tow it home. We want to thank our very sweet neighbor for helping us transport our kids and some of the belongings from the van last night and for Megan who is now running Eric over to Knoxville to get the truck and trailer. Hope we get home safely and soon.
