Well that was a Local Colour party to remember!! A huge and happy crowd, old friends, new friends, neighbours, patrons - really just too many of you lovely folks for me to get around to say hi to everyone. I felt the pride of my 25 year accomplishment. I even got congratulatory certificates from all levels of elected officials and the Chamber of Commerce. Big thanks to Charles Meanwell and Fran Cockburn for their beautiful exhibit at The Flesherton Art Gallery and special thanks to Charles for his wonderful bagpipe performance. Ann Detar was the first prize winner in the Local Colour birthday bash quiz with 8 out of ten correct questions. 10 other contestants also received prizes. The exhibit of 25 years of clippings and posters will stay on display at Local Colour for a month so drop by if you want a trip down memory lane. And a BIG thanks to all the makers, all the customers and all the folks in this community who have made this 25 year ride more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
