Well, this past weekend I paid the $20 Bremerton Transportation District fee when I renewed my car tabs. Despite the splitting of hairs and revisionist history by the Mayor and several members of the council as to “Why” the TBD was created and the “How” behind funds distributions that should be firmly anchored on selling points and promises made to the public, it appears that some success in getting a partial list of the initial streets promised repairs back on a work plan has occurred. These streets had been removed. The success in what will now follow through on promises made is based almost entirely on the amount of citizen “sunlight” being cast on a room full of mushrooms. Keep the sunlight coming.
