Well today was more productive then we expected :) While sanding, a woman in her SUV parked in my driveway and Gordon & I looked at each other dont know who is this. Very pleasant woman, who asked me after going through my garage, if I could restore her antique dining room table. I replied that this is not my job, but a hobby, but that didnt stop her lol We exchanged numbers and I will see her set this weekend. Day didnt stop there, a senior woman walked up the driveway, and into my garage and asking oodles of questions of which I answered. She smiled and asked if I did the shelving unit, I said nope it was my son, and she said he did a very good job :) She inquired about my rhubarb, of which I told her take as much as you like, so we gathered rhubarb, and then I cut the leaves off and Gordon brought a bag, Told her she is welcome to take as much rhubarb whenever she likes :) As she was leaving, she said dont be surprised if you find rhubarb jam in your mail box It didnt stop there, I went to Co-op Home Center and you know you are going there too much when they remember you lol When I got home I started power sanding again, and a neighbour was coming up with a palm held power sander! I asked how much he wanted for it, as I have always wanted one of those, he said it isnt for sale, but he is lending it to us till we get our projects done. Gordons eyes glued to the new tool, and me smiling and thanking the man. Gordon is all excited for sanding now lol And much easier to use then my big one which we use for the initial sanding. Tomorrow........who knows what will happen, all I know is people are asking when we will be selling stuff. lol Spit rain didnt stop us today.....kept working through and even the wasps..Gordon is getting awesome at using a drawer base as a bat lol All you hear is whack of the wasp kissing the drawer bottom lol Keep smiling all.......it is almost the tail end of the week :)
