Well vacation day 1 comes to a close. We made it from York to Mystic in about 6-1/2 hours. Ate at a great deli called Cordobas in CT just across the NY border. Went to the NEX at Groton and did a mini driving tour of the base. Ate an awesome meal at Mystic Pizza in Mystic at a VERY reasonable price. Then walked around town a bit. Great town, going back to take a few pics and maybe donate to the local establishments. Now everyone is snoring but me, exhausted in their Navy Lodge beds. Tomorrow is another day.
