Went for a long and enjoyable lunch at a Japanese restaurant with two old Army buddies. Both are named Bill, one from Portsmouth, N.H. and the other from Boston, Mass. One of them went through Airborne Jump School at Ft. Benning and Jungle School at Ft. Sherman, Panama with me. Weve been friends for over fifty years. We had a famous classmate in Jump School, with us, author Robin Moore. We had California Rolls, Gyoza and a Chinese main dish, General Tsos Chicken with fried rice, all was very good. We enjoyed swapping old tales and catching up on some of the old boys and how they are faring. We had a lot of real good people. Too many have passed away. The Chinese waitress remembered me and asked where the two girls were? She was referring to the two Barn Girls I go there with, at times, my two equestrienne friends, Deanna Levesque and Rochelle Mae LeBlanc
