Were glad you guys are excited - we are too - but this is for the folks that keep asking the same questions over and over and over and over: 1. We WILL NOT keep our opening a secret. As soon as we know - youll know. We WANT you to know. No one wants to get open more than we do. We want this joint open more than you do. Why? We have not had a paycheck for months. 2. Monday is Health Inspection day. It may go well (hopefully), it may not (boo hoo). Like everyone, some Inspectors are cool, some are not. We are praying for the Lee Marvin of Inspectors. 3. If all goes well, Halloween Night will be the Preview Opening. If that happens, we will have the The Fourth Ward Afro-Klezmer Orchestra playing from 7:30 - 10:00. 4. We will open with a very limited menu, and will probably be overwhelmed. Everyones patience will be required as we get rolling. 5. We are not a Vegan, Vegetarian or Gluten free restaurant. We never were going to be. We WILL have Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten free items available. Well even have a special menu printed of JUST those items so your eyes dont have to even look at meat dishes. 6. There will be a bike rack or something of the sort. 7. There will be tons of Peanuts in the restaurant. 8. We will roll out a Brunch on Saturday and Sunday as quickly as we can. 9. The TVs will not EVER, EVER, EVER show basketball. EVER.
