Were going through a difficult time at the moment :( Our Sasha is 14, but mentally not well at all. She has Cushings, Thyroid, is quite deaf and now has Dementia! Shes giving my other dogs hell, especially Ben who she goes for constantly. I have to think on my feet all the time to keep her away from him. She barks at me when I walk out of the kitchen, if I make a brew, if I go outside, when Im feeding them - in fact lots!! Her quality of life is not good, because we have to shout at her to stop, and I hate that! She cant seem to stop though, and will stare me out barking until I go over to her. When quietly stroking her she will start shaking, like muscle twitches that move through her whole body and her back end may sway and her jaw will actually chatter. I think Bens depressed, because of her :( Its a shame because shes always been such a good girl but in these last 12 mths she has changed!. :(
