This one bucks the trend. This one creates a wholly unique experience that is in equal parts fascinating technological achievement and terrifying. The closest thing to referencing previous horror films is that it is entirely shot on the council estate which Kubrick used for parts of A Clockwork Orange. The video itself sees children with the face of Mr. Twin himself Richard D. James terrorizing the estate and the life of an old woman whilst set to the songs intense industrial soundscape and distorted vocal samples of I will eat your soul and Come to daddy along with screams. Its the perfect fusion of visuals and music to create a entirely unpleasant and brilliant experience that is not only the best music video for Halloween but one of the best music videos ever made. There definitely should be a support group for those of us who see James warped and disturbing grin whenever we close our eyes. Maybe we just all have to kill him in our dreams?
