What I want to know is: When did I become a Luddite? It seems like only yesterday that I was hip to all the cutting-edge technology. (I had a PALM PILOT, for those of you who remember such things.) Now, not so much. Was scheduled to do a Skype call today. The other party called in. I tried to answer. The call would not work and I had *no idea* how to fix that. (There was no video icon option.) Felt utterly helpless. Later they told me that they could hear me as I ran downstairs to grab my ipad to see if that would work better. (Good thing I didnt make any embarrassing sounds thinking that I was alone, or at least not that I can remember.) Good thing someone on the other end figured things out. I used to be able to troubleshoot problems on my computer. Now, I just hope that the technology works by itself.
