Andy Murray reached his second straight Wimbledon final 6—7 (2—7), 6—4, 6—4, 6—3 on Friday over Pole Jerzy Janowicz amid controversial circumstances, with play halted in evening daylight to close the Centre Court roof. Murray complained to no avail as referee Andrew Jarrett insisted, leaving the players 20 minutes in the locker room while the mechanism creaked into place, lighting came on and air conditioning was revved up. The Scot, bidding for the first home men’s singles title since Fred Perry won it in 1936, will face off Sunday against longtime rival Novak Djokovic, who outlasted Juan Del Potro 7—5, 4—6, 7—6 (7—2), 6—7 (6—8), 6—3 to win the longest—ever Wimbledon semi—final.
