What I witnessed and learned on my way to San Diego, California, - TopicsExpress

What I witnessed and learned on my way to San Diego, California, and back, (trying to avoid flooding in Las Vegas and parts of Arizona) by way of Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona. 1. There are a LOT of gorgeous, polite, hard working men. Especially more Brown men that fit this category than I am used to seeing! 2. When its hot, its HOT! 107 degrees one day. Who knows what the heat index was. The sun was like a laser and my eyes still feel the effects. 3. I saw an unbroken horizon. A lot of flat land with no trees or anything to break up the landscape. It was like looking at the rim of the Earth. 4. I forgot about tornado alley until I witnessed storm clouds on that unhindered horizon in Kansas and Oklahoma (pictures attached). 5. I saw the entryway from the Gomer Pyle show at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego and the flag at half-mast because it was 9/11. Also saw recruits (and their families) at graduation. OO-RAH Devil Dogs! 6. Comin round the mountain when she comes is not always fun, especially when the person driving is going 80 mph. 7. AT&T considers parts of California roaming abroad (as if we left the country). Needless to say, I used up all the data for our Family plan. Question: Why are men so short (height) in Denver, Colorado?
