What a beautiful morning, not a puff of wind, birds singing, dogs and cats taking life easy. It seems particularly appropriate on this glorious summers day to say a special thank you to those people who, when they see an animal in distress, looking lost and alone, do not drive by. These are the people who stop and take the time to talk to that lost dog or cat and who gently coax it to the car. They take that animal home and set about trying to find an owner. Many dogs and cats have been reunited because someone cared, someone stopped, someone helped. These are the unsung rescuers so a very big Thank You. Please, if you love your dog, attach an id tag to the collar and have the dog microchipped. Your dog depends on you, a simple thing such as an id tag might be the difference between your dog coming home or forever lost.
