What a busy day! Mel, Annie, Violet, Busta, Jess and Lauren in the house today and its all been about preparing for hibernation and organising things for next year when we surface from our period of rest. HUGE thanks to Babette (To Be Worn Again) and Heather and all at Studio 106 for a very generous donation of blankets & winter clothes for IRAQ. You can still drop by donations for this project on Thursday. We will be packing everything up this Saturday. Elsewhere today we have been packing tools up for WorkAid and computer equipment for Computers for Kenya. Annie, Lauren & Jess made some lovely posters for our special offer days and we will be bringing more about arrangements for our last week soon. Our last day is next Thursday (27th November). It coincides with our late night opening so you can shop until 7.30pm. As most of our supporters know we hibernate in December and January - this allows the centre to have a breather and the volunteers to have a well earned rest. Please bring all your recycling by next week - particularly any Activia & Danone yoghurt pots and Baby Wipe packaging as these schemes are due to end. Keep warm :-))
