What a day... Focus died in an intersection in Red Deer, wait an hour in the heat for the tow truck, get to Canadian Tire and they were ever so helpful, too busy to take a quick look to maybe determine the root cause of my problem, tow truck driver puts a battery pack on the battery and car turns over, so i go in and they are ever so helpful while i buy a new battery and provide me tools to replace the battery i just purchased. After 30 minutes waiting for my parents to arrive after driving from calgary we head out onto the highway to try and head home to airdrie... less than 5 minutes on the highway all electronics failed, odometer went blank, engine light came on, battery light came on and the best part.... the steering wheel locked up at 110kms an hour... so with little steering and without causing a pile up on hwy 2 i manage to get the car into the ditch and stopped. car got towed to MGM in Red Deer but no one can look at it until next week... were home now
