What a difference a day makes ...bloody goats are still doing my head in! :/ 413 has got to be going senile - she had one kid. The next day she started feeding another kid - was happy to have a kid on either side. Now she doesnt want either of them. Shes carrying on in the shed, calling for a kid, head butts both of them away when they try to go under her. Her kid is totally confused & noisy as which is upsetting the other 7 mothers. Then the fighting started ..a real good old BASH FEST ..stupid bloody animals. I locked 413 in a pen, held her while her kid got a drink, put her kid in the next pen. Both were still noisy.. 413 trying to get out, kid trying to get to 413. The other kid couldnt care less, he has his mother & shes happy hes not running off ..she was confused with the goings on & not being a big aggressive doe shes been hanging back. The other does had settled down & the fighting stopped by the time I left. Ill have to go back up & check on them before I go to bed. This is not her first kidding, shes never behaved like this before. Looks like Ill get another bottle baby out of this carry on ..Ill put 413 back down the paddock if need be. Bloody goats!
