What a great surprise I had today. Got a call from my friend Connie who lives in N.J. I havent seen her in about 3 or 4 years. She was in Allentown with her boyfriend and they wanted to take me out for a birthday lunch. It was so great to see her. I met her in the early 80s after my husband and I split up. I decided to go to Churchmans Business School in Easton. I wanted to make new friends. Well I did, I was around 33 and my new friends were 18. Boy, did I learn a lot from those gals. I had a great time and they used to call me Cher because I had long dark curly hair and wore purple eyeshadow & drove a huge white 1978 Cadillac Eldorado. I was the star of the in group in school and I loved it. Had to share that experience with everyone. You know you are good friends when you dont see someone for such a long time and pick up like you saw each other yesterday.
