What a touching moving event ! British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran granted one teen girl’s dying wish and sang her to sleep just moments before she passed away. The girl, 15-year-old Triona Priestly from Dublin, Ireland, had been battling cystic fibrosis, a genetic disorder that most commonly affects the lungs. She was a huge fan of Ed Sheeran, and when some of the singer’s other fans heard about her situation, they started a twitter campaign called #SongForTri, in the hopes of getting Ed Sheeran to sing for Triona one-on-one. The campaign caught Sheeran’s attention and on Tuesday, he called Priestly at the hospital and sang her his song “Little Bird” over the phone. She drifted off to sleep as he sang, and she passed away soon after.
