What a way to start the day with such a loving email from a very dear soul. Am so blessed to have such love in my life :) I just saw your Youtube clip on Isvara and Isvara Pranidhana. Thank you for this up close and personal Satsangh. You always have this ability to make me cry! And as I was analyzing my reaction, I wondered what it is that elicits this. I think I have found part of the answer: hope and trust. The more we grow / live, the more we realize we cannot talk to the average person. We do not drink, we do not smoke, we dont go out to have fun dancing/clubbing/ to bars. We are very different. And very happy to be! But we see things so differently, and work hard at seeing them differently! There are less and less people we can relate to in terms of our deep views and convictions (which are always being tested and that we test too - were not trying to be fanatical about any of them, just trying to be sincere by living them to the best of our abilities.) This means though that we have mostly each other to talk to, and I know how much of a blessing that is, so Im not complaining, but it can get isolating in some ways. When I get to hear you talk about these precious concepts, it gives me hope because maybe Im not so crazy, maybe there is a purpose to living the way we try to live, and because I trust you entirely, I believe you! Well now that Ive written down the little Swadhyaya on my reactions to your video, it all seems pretty obvious. There is a relief, a renewed conviction and aim, and the ability to continue to make the effort - Abhyasa.
