What can we do as youth? Appreciate our own History/Herstory in order to build an environment of Common Understanding Involve Indigenous Peoples and support constituency building among them; preserve cultural traditions; Youth to understand the roadmap of the peace process through continuous discussions and follow its progress (full implementation); Youth to organize initiatives that will establish a communication line towards greater participation in the peace process; Integrate in our hearts and minds the six petals of peace Call and Appeal for a stoppage of the long incidences of killings and shooting incidences through the use of tri-media; Come up with Statements for Press Releases, know how to do documentations and report cases; Provide exposures to fellow youth on programs and projects that nourishes self-worth and self-awareness; Convene youth to discuss matters of poverty, environmental destruction, security, political corruption and other pressing issues of society; Initiate declarations of zones of peace, peace centers, peace weavers; Enroll in peace education subjects, electives, courses; Partner with civil society organizations whose cause is peace-building, peace keeping and peace making; Engage ourselves in reconstruction, healing and rebuilding of conflict affected areas and disrupted by evacuation centers of citizens in war zones; Engage the youth in sustaining peace development agenda Construct new environments and culture which transform deficient structures and which strengthen human capabilities; Build geographical and spiritual bridges between youth and other people and societies to strengthen intra-faith and inter-faith, intra ethnic and inter ethnic understandings Involve other youth in civic actions and youth led projects Create cadre of leaders that will work towards the advancement of peace and solidarity as well as peaceful coexistence among groups
