What if you had a booth at a comic book convention in your hometown and THIS happened: A celebrated author/artist/publisher who is an invited guest at the convention approaches your booth. She/he says to you, “Hello, YOU. I’ve seen your book online and I really love it. I would love to buy you a drink after the show. Maybe you can take me to one of your favorite Mom & Pop eateries in the city and we can talk?” Then, as you’re in the middle of shitting your underwear … a camera crew emerges from the ether and that very same celebrated author/artist/publisher looks you in the eye and says, “What? You believed that? Are you serious! I hope not, because you just got KA-PUNK’D, SON!!!” A skinny-jean clad posse of MTV stooges surrounds you and chants, “M-T-V GEEK, M-T-V GEEK! M-T-V GEEK!’
