What is the focus in season for athletes @ WSSC? 1. Recovery between games/training sessions (nutritional/ hydration/physiological restoration interventions) 2. Skill based sessions during the week, vital for athletes to maintain skills learn team strategies/plays. A big issue for most athletes is lack of proper physical preparation leading to soreness/fatigue post game session and not being able to train. Remember you need to train to improve at your sport (train like you play mantra) if you cant train your preparation will be compromised = decrease in performance!
