What is the matter with some Muslims? Why are you so naive? Why do you believe everything youre fed without verifying? If I were to post a lie today about Eminem accepting Islam and changing his name to Abdur Rahmaan ibn Mathers or something, this would spread like wildfire. Heck, someone would even photoshop a pic of his and place a thawb on him and draw a lihyah to make it look authentic. Two points here: 1. We have to verify news before we spread them. [surah hujuraat : 6]. And know that it is sufficient for a person to be considered a liar that he narrates everything he hears. 2. When an individual accepts Islam, he does Allah no favours, and he does Islam no favours. Rather, it is Allah who has favoured him with guidance. [Again, see the end of surah hujuraat]. So whether the person accepting Islam is a celebrity or not is irrelevant. Again, why are you so naive?! LEARN YOUR DEEN AND IMPLEMENT IT, DONT MAKE ISLAM LOOK BAD BY SPREADING FALSE RUMOURS!
