What on earth could Mercy Johnson have either done wrong or right to warrant the loud murmuring from her colleagues or should I say the whole audience at the just concluded AMVCA. The actress was called on stage alongside Joseph Benjamin to present an award. And as Mercy, draped in a purple gown, stood from her seat and walked up the stage, you needed the hear the loud bee-like murmuring that followed her right from her seat onto the stage. Then I wondered what could be on the lips of the guests, especially the Nollywood actresses present there that night. see her, nah only she dey for the industry? Shes in all the hot movies now o!, some of them would have mumbled. We wish they ban her so that we can get a little attention, some actresses would have said amongst themselves. Is it because shes married with a child? She may be happy right now, we wish her marriage crumbles soon, haters would have prayed. Any which way, Mercy seems to be the rave of the moment. Shes worked harder for it so let her enjoy the fruits of her labour joh..abi no be so?
