Whats your greatest fear? Failing or being alone? I dont mean any - TopicsExpress

Whats your greatest fear? Failing or being alone? I dont mean any disrespect to any one but I would rather be alone and do what im doing then stuck making ends meet hating my job, dating the wrong person, or taking the safe road to no where. Life is short so follow your dreams before the shows over. My life was nearly taken when I was 16, I broke my jaw, both my arms, my back, my left leg, and had a mild brain damage. I was in a near complete body cast for 9 months. However, it was the greatest learning experience thats EVER happened to me. While I was being pushed around in a wheel chair I realized some thing most people never seem to figure out. I had every thing any one could ever want, a strong mind, unbroken spirit, and a soon to be healed body. I was so fortunate to look possible death, paralysis, or permanent brain damage in the face and walk away unscathed, my perception had forever been changed. No longer was life about a good job, security, or even finding some one. My life had a distinct purpose, following my dreams and taking the road less traveled. After nearly loosing every thing so young I literally had nothing else to loose. To this day with my business, racing, friends and relationships I always ask does this person, job, or lifestyle inspire me to be a better person and keep stretching what I thought to be the limits. Dont be afraid to let go of the past, people, etc. in pursuit of some thing greater. Ive never regretted choosing to live my life this way and I hope you can let go of the unhealthy burdens holding you back from realizing your potential as well. This video was an interesting perspective on reasons people fail, and it struck a few chords.....
