When I first posted Ethan’s video (Breaking the autism glass ceiling) I wanted to show others how a nonverbal child could reach their full potential. I want to show that every child is teachable, and that you just have to find the correct method to teach them. This is a story about Wyatt - an 11 year old boy with severe autism. When we started working with Wyatt 2 years ago, he was nonverbal and had behaviors that interfered with his learning. For two years, Wyatt has been taught using visual ABA for just a couple of hours a week after school; and yet, he has still made remarkable progress.
