When I see people on here quoting scriptures and preaching about what is right and proclaiming that they are such devout and outstanding Christians and people of God, I cannot help but ask myself I wonder if they Googled that scripture for their Facebook status, or if theyve actually read the Bible in full? With that being said, I know I dont fully live my life right nor do I claim to. Why proclaim to be something youre not? Especially when its faking being an outstanding Christian. My relationship with God is no one elses business, as the same for anyone elses relationship with God. I was raised in a southern Baptist church, my Dad also became a Methodist pastor when I was a teenager, and I myself know for a fact some of the meanest, judgmental people sit in a church pew every Sunday, but I also feel that their time will come. Just because you go to a church on Sunday and put money in an offering plate DOES NOT make you a Christian or better than anyone else. Modesty and compassion is sadly something Christians lack these days, instead of loving each other and understanding differences of one another we throw verses down each others throats and judge one another for what we believe is wrong. I completely and fully understand and know what the Bible says about gay marriage, so for anyone who is planning on commenting the verse of Leviticus 18:22, dont waste your Googling skills. To me, all judgment is left up to God and a sin is a sin - all equal, none considered greater than the other. Who are we to point fingers and tell someone theyre going to hell? ITS NOT OUR PLACE. We as Christians have somehow wrapped it in our heads that its okay to tell people theyre an abomination and theyre hell bound when its obviously not, all that is left up to God. I may not know a lot, but I know that My God, is a loving and merciful God. And I do believe in my heart He would be ASHAMED of most of you on here pointing fingers at people for who they love and doing what makes them happy when your life isnt right. Lets tidy up our own lives before throwing stones at others. Have a blessed day. ❤️
