When Jerry made this photo, we only could do black & white with our darkroom photography equipment, but look what Robert Grimes did with an online colorizer. My pantsuit was yellow and so were my shoes, and he had no idea. Heck, he was but a toddler at that time! This was our Ten Year Reunion at the New Southern Banquet Room, which was located then on the southwest corner of the building. Bet you did not know that I did all the paperwork when that place was constructed; I was a secretary at Rusk Federal Savings & Loan in those days. This reminds me of a photography joke which I will post when I can reconstruct it; Mr. Gee (what was his full name, Emadean Gladys French? His wifes name was Valli, and they lived in the house that Mickey Gambrell Cathy Gambrell Tapia) and his wife built. OR do I have him mixed up with somebody else? I know Mr. Gee was a dapper little fellow who always dressed like a Philadelphia lawyer when he appeared for work at Jerrys office at Isaacs Motor Co; (Keith Isaacs) is the old photog friend who told the joke. It is about a widow who wanted a photographer to reconstruct a photo of her deceased husband and remove the hat that is on his head in the picture! The photographer asked the widow lady on which side did her husband part his hair to which she replied Oh, I cannot remember! Youll know when you get his hat off!
