When a coach/nutritionist prescribes a nutritional plan for you, follow it "as is" if you want to see results. Putting your twist on it (eating chocolate covered almonds instead of almonds, switching out an olive oil dressing for ranch dressing, eating breaded and fried chicken instead of grilled chicken breast, adding cheese sauce to your broccoli, drinking 80 ounces of diet iced tea instead of water, etc), will simply give you a false sense of control and no positive results.
