When i was a young boy, about the age of 5 or 6 besides watching TV there was nothing else to do, seeing that my mother had control of the one and only computer we had in the house most of the time,and no mobile internet or instant messaging other than e-mail, i had to play outside with the kids play on my PlayStation or at Tyler Matthews house on nintendo64, it had cords, no menu, online gaming was a distant dream, and when you wanted to play an opponent you had to be in the same physical space to play games like Rayman,Donkey Kong 64, Super Smash Mario Bros, Crash bandicot, and maybe spyro the dragon with two corded( yes corded ) controllers with no built in mini joysticks, and all with a small chubby television that made distinct light patterns when you turned it on and with only 55 channels compared to thousands watching ytv and shows like Dragonball Z, Rugrats, and Digimon. and that was only thirteenth years ago : )
