When life is over and you are standing before God, at that point, many of the things that once seemed so important in this life will be loss. I remember Doug saying its not ours to keep! It will not matter where you were born, when you were born, who your parents were, your skin color, gender of economic status. It wont matter what you bought, but what you built, that is what will count. Its not how much you made but how much you gave, not how much you learned but how much you taught. Its not competence but character that will count. It wont matter how many people you knew but how many people knew you because of your love for Christ. Every act of love, integrity, humility, compassion, courage, or sacrifice that enriched or encouraged others to live for Christ, that is what will matter---for all of eternity! Lord keep me simply trusting You, yielding to You, and honoring You in all I am and all I do and think and say. GOD THE FINAL FRONTIER
