When some become rich they transgress, oppress, become arrogant & even forget that they have a Maker to answer to. They become extravagant, wasteful and consider themselves above the law of the Almighty. They become control freaks thinking that their wealth automatically gives them a say or the privilege of issuing instruction that dare be contested. Bragging about what they have achieved and constantly reminding people of what they have done for them are also some qualities they develop. Some begin to believe that they will live forever and that their wealth will never deplete. In contrast, others who become rich become more humble & godly to the degree that they are loved for who they are and what they stand for, rather than what they have and how much they control. They consider themselves similar to others and fulfill their obligations unto the Almighty with humility. The rich choose one of these two paths and go down in history for their choice. So choose wisely and never be afraid of making drastic changes in the right direction in your life. Also let us not forget that being rich is not about having excessive wealth & authority but it is about the absolute contentment with whatever you have. This is only achieved by the pure-hearted regardless of what they own materially.
