When the Internet began, I thought, naively, that it would be a beacon of truth and validation, that scientifically verified, and re-examined information would enlighten. Wow, was I wrong. The Internet was hijacked by those bent on shouting their bigotry, bias, and lies. Thanks to FactCheck.org, Snopes.org and other fact checking sites, it is possible to separate the hogwash from verifiable information. Truth will ultimately prevail where there is pains taken to bring it to light. (George Washington)
