When we are shopping Gavin still rides in the shopping cart, his legs hurt a lot especially if weve been busy and gone all day. I had a older gentleman give me a hard time about Gavin being in the cart at Sams Club, I tried to explain that Gavin had CP and his muscles hurt. This is the second time in the past week this has happened, it also happened at Albertsons in our own home town. I get really annoyed, I dont understand why people cant just mind their own business. Its not like the stores cater to parents that have children with disabilities, Gavin cant drive an electric cart (that would be a worse mess). What can I do so that I dont feel the need every single time to explain my child to complete strangers? It is uncomfortable for Gavin as well as myself. We do what works for us.
