When we see pious people doing good deeds, we automatically assume that it is easy for them, but were wrong. Just because they do it, it doesnt mean its easy. What it means is that they are in love. They are in love with Allah, hence they carry out that which is pleasing to Him. And it is because of their desire to please Him, that they fall in love with the deeds which once tired them. Now they bring them nothing but relief. Just because a mother feeds, clothes, washes and takes care of her child, it doesnt mean its easy. All it means is that her child is very beloved to her thus she does whatever is in her capacity to fulfill its needs. Allah is al Ghãni. He does not need our deeds, our worship, or our sacrifice. But all of it is a symbol of our love for Him. A declaration you could say. A means of proving our love for Him. So if we wish to show Him that we love Him, let us be steadfast in our deeds, our obedience. Just as the pious strive to show Allah their love, we must too. For words are pointless without action. As the saying goes, actions speak louder than words.
