When you know in your heart that you have committed an act of evil always remember that even if you did, by judging yourself you will further bury your heart under what could be self-hate for only the devil within would behave as if he/she was the judge of you. All the wise know that the only true judge is Allah (God), who is The Master of The Day of Judgment. Have you considered that your act may not have been of deep rooted evil or of any significant evil at all? Did you forward your judgment to the Master before you cast it onto your soul to see if He approved first? Are you a victim of undeserved depression and why? Beware of suggestions which Satan within often cast over firm thoughts and deeds. Satan is the author of confusion. Try to see as would Allah (God). Allah is the Most Merciful, so fly to Him and return to Him what is of His. Who do you belong to? The answer is: Him! You owe it to yourself to be again His Love!
