While all roads lead to Siongiroi-Chepalungu today, It is imperative that the Deputy President William Samoei Rutto for President 2012. re-evaluates his South Rift strategy and re-looks at the value his point men at the ground Charles Keter, Benjamin Langat, et al bring to him. I say so basing my analysis on the recent attempted removal of Governor Paul Kiprono Chepkwony of Kericho by 32 MCAs which was, and is still being perceived to have originated from them. Instead of destroying governor Paul Chepkwony, his detractors have immensely built him politically! The ground reacted in support of the governor resoundingly! People turned up in large numbers to receive him at the Kericho Nakuru Boundary(Mau Summit) and the convoy of cars and motor cycles were amazing! At every center he stood there were a mammoth crowd to receive him. It was reminiscent of the days when retired President Moi used to visit Kericho! I can now say that The County Government of Kericho and the entire Kericho County politics is set to drastically change and unless Hon Benjamin Langat and Senator Charles Keter stop fighting the governor, their political future is very bleak! Mark my words and watch this space!
