Who you Choose to Obey: Doesn’t it make sense that if you sign yourself over as a slave, you will have to obey your master? The question before you is, What will be your master? Will it be sin—which will lead to certain death—or obedience—which will lead to a right and reconciled life? (Romans 6:16)But what do you have to show from your former lives besides shame? The outcome of that life is death......, guaranteed. (Romans 6:21) As we were living in the flesh, the law could not solve the problem of sin; it only awakened our lust for more and cultivated the fruit of death in our bodily members. (Romans 7:5) True Christians, are completely new creation in Christ Jesus. For if a man belongs to Christ, he is a new person. The old life is gone. New life has begun.(2 Corinthians 5:17)You must become a new person and be God-like. Then you will be made right with God and have a true holy life.(Ephesians 4:24) We were once the slaves of sin.We are no longer servants to our old master, but we are now servants of God ,our new master. For no man can serve two masters.(Matthew 6:24) So when we were baptized, we were buried with Christ and took part in his death. And just as Christ was raised from death by the wonderful power of the Father, so we can now live a new life.(Romans 6:4) For the death he died, he died to sin once for all, but the life he lives, he lives to God. So you too consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires, (Romans 6:10-12) Through God’s loving-kindness, He has given us this job to do. So we do not give up. We have put away all things that are done in secret and in shame. We do not play with the Word of God or use it in a false way. Because we are telling the truth, we want men’s hearts to listen to us. God knows our desires.( 2 Corinthians 4:1-2)
