Why I think The Cleavers on Leave It To Beaver was the perfect - TopicsExpress

Why I think The Cleavers on Leave It To Beaver was the perfect example of what God meant a family to be. The father Ward took the responsibility of his home and family, instead of leaving them like most men do these days. He was stern but showed compassion to his children, even the Beave! June was a stay at home mom because Ward worked outside of the home, while June managed and run the household with Wards guidance. They would discuss matters and agree to the decision. They never yelled or screamed at each other or Wally and the Beave. June was able to stay at home because they never lived above their means. They only had one television, so Ward was not in one room watching sports on one TV, June was watching Soaps on another, while the kids stayed in their rooms watching TV or playing video games. There were no computers, no phones except house phone, or no other gadget to occupy their time. The TV did not run all day but was mainly watched for the news or during family time. The family ate together, good, wholesome meals because there was no fast food around every corner. Life was simple for the Cleavers, but they seemed to have it together. They seemed corny at the time, but now I see a model family (of coarse only on TV)! LOL, now The Brady Bunch is another post!
