Why The Eagle??? Chances are - if youve looked at very much Message-related material - that youve often seen pictures of eagles associated with It. You may be wondering, Why is that? In the Bible, God often associates eagles with prophets, and with the prophetic ministry. In Exodus Ch.19:4 God says to Israel - through Moses, Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles wings, and brought you unto myself. Now obviously Israel werent physically lifted and carried on literal eagles wings, but God was speaking of Moses ministry and Moses Message - which He used to deliver them from Egypt. An eagle is characterised by its ability to fly high and to see a long way off - altitude and clarity of vision. These attributes speak of discernment, insight, accuracy, perspective, and an ability to foretell future events. These are characteristics - of God - that are evident in a prophetic ministry, and that a prophet brings to the people that hear his Message. An eagle possesses a loud, sharp, piercing cry - thus the association with the Ministry that God has sent in our day. Revelation Ch.4 speaks of four living creatures that John saw round about - and in the midst of - the Throne of God. They are the lion, the calf, the man, and the flying eagle. Those same four creatures feature in Ezekiels vision in the first chapter. They are the four standards that Israel raised around the tabernacle of Moses when they set up camp - on their journey through the wilderness. Those beasts also correspond with the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. In short, they are the four ANOINTINGS that God poured out upon His Church - over the past 2,000 years - to enable Her to overcome the devils schemes. As Satan has attacked - via the four horse riders of Revelation Ch.6:1-8 - God has equipped His People to defeat him. The ONLY way that They were able to overcome was by the ANOINTING that God provided! With the Opening of that Seven Sealed Book the anointing of that Flying Eagle has been loosed upon this end-time Bride. It empowers Her to soar above the oncoming Tribulation, and will take Her to feast with Him at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb! Hallelujah!!!
