Why did the very conservative Supreme Court let Gay Marriage - TopicsExpress

Why did the very conservative Supreme Court let Gay Marriage stand? Marriage was originally an act between a man a woman and their God, no licence or contract required.... The Justices are sworn to uphold the constitution...Which separates the church and state in the 4th amendment.. To the State.... Marriage is a licence and contract between 2 people and does not have to be performed by a religious figure... So to the State it is not a religious act ...it is a contract... To prevent any two people from entering into a legal contract but allowing others is a violation of the constitutional rights of said people... Im not promoting or opposing Gay Marriage...I am simply explaining why the shocking decision of a conservative and personally religious Supreme Court ....It is the law in accordance to our constitution as it is written....
