Why do people hesitate to show theyre Artemis Fowl fans despite the fact that Fowl remains the bestselling series of childrens novels? - The novels are actually series meant for early teens and children. It is actually an aisle between Noddy and Harry Potter and showing this in social networking sites may mean making fun of themselves. - The words used are difficult for children (who would enjoy reading it the most) and acceptable for older readers (who would ridicule Eoin Colfer - the authors imagination) - The novel is even more unrealistic than some of the greatest fiction around with fairies as antagonists (which doesnt go well with the female lot), pixies, trolls (troll means giant here) and other humanoid creatures. - It blatantly represents the image of an immature reader. Similar to a fan of RL Stines horror books. - They may feel people would laugh at them. - The novel is illogical and also immoral for kids because Artemis Fowl, the main character is a dark child prodigy who has devoted his intelligence to criminal activities. Also some people rate his secret Fowl Manor as a joke in the name of any novel. They believe its akin to Dexters Laboratory - after all Fowl Manor is Artemis hideout for carrying on his activities. - Last but not the least Indians refuse to accept vibrant imagination. Even the so called book readers seek love, ambition, intimacy and a melodramatic fairytale (in which there should be no chance of having a fairy in it) I agree with the last rule only. Artemis Fowl Fan all my life!
