Why, when I help and identify with people who are struggling due to the draconian welfare reforms [NOT] can I, do I, get solar panels? First I was jerked off by the EON review and impending price rise. Although I will switch to 1st Utility, I was still angry at a 20% hike on top of the substantial hikes over the last 3 years. I needed to have some control over energy bills. Second, I was offered a very good deal on finance Third, I will cancel sky TV and use Freeview but I need to investigate the record facility etc, so the savings from that will go towards paying off the solar panels. Fourth, I contacted who I needed and asked if I could so this in line with their conditions for receiving the benefits I do. Fifth, I believe that home energy generation should be made available where possible to social housing tenants and others who, through no fault of their own, need to rely in varying degrees on the state. To push this view, I need the knowledge and experience of using this system to the best of what it offers. Then I can make the case.
