Why when I speak to some Christians they talk as if free will is a free pass to sin? Okay, listen...if theres something that you want to do and you know its wrong throwing the FREE WILL card doesnt justify your actions!!! Knowing that its wrong and you still justify doing it leaves only one more question. Are you even saved? You know theres a said faith and a true faith? There are those who say they are saved, but do whatever they desire while justifying it. Then you have true faith, not perfect and will do wrong, but is grieved when that wrong is committed. That person desires nothing more than to repent and prevent. In other words they will seek Gods forgiveness, Godly counsel and wisdom in how not too do that again. Justification is Gods love that allowed Jesus to die for our sins thus justifying our way out of sin. Sanctification is Gods love that got up from the grave and gave us a way to return to the father by being born again. It isnt just being saved, but showing our gratefulness by loving Him through how we live. Its an on going growing process that doesnt end until Glorification steps in which is Gods promised love to return for His children or receive us in our heavenly kingdom upon our death. If you are outside of this then you are NOT a follower of Jesus Christ and the Christian faith. Your willingness to live free of Christ instruction should have been left at the altar of repentance. How can my will be free when Im a slave to Christ? I am free in Him because who the Father set free is free indeed, yes but that freedom was paid with a price so I return my love by freely loving the only one that could save me from my eternal damnation. Anyone who believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God. “This, then, is the judgment: The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil. For everyone who practices wicked things hates the light and avoids it, so that his deeds may not be exposed. But anyone who lives by the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be shown to be accomplished by God.” (John 3:18-21 HCSB) Dont let throwing the free will cliche around cause you to die in bondage...
