Whyteleaf Donaghmede today, a new low was reached when gardai decided to close off the road to traffic and told drivers of cars trying to get in or out that protesters were blocking the road. Bad enough that but when a taxi tried to leave the estate with a sick baby being rushed to hospital they would not let it through. Despite pleading of the mother of the child, protesters and EVEN IW workers the gardai REFUSED to allow them through and the grandmother had to put the sick child into a buggy and run to a main road to catch another taxi. I know this sounds so beyond belief and people will doubt it happened, so just as well we have it on video. (Being uploaded on youtube right now) Will be added later today. Photos show the taxi stopped by gardai and the childs grandmother with sick child now in buggy, she did not even stop to put on a coat and shoes. Needless to say she is very angry.
