Winds are going to be the big issue today, blowing in from the WNW to near 35 MPH. In addition to cold wind chills, it will also cause blowing and drifitng snow. It is due to that reason that we find ourselves under a Winter Weather Advisory until 6:00 PM. Visibilities will be reduced and drifts may form over roadways, so take care on the roads. Highs will only reach 13, and the wind chill is basically slapping a negative sign in front of the air temperature. Afternoon temperatures will likely be stuck in the teens for much of this week, but a warmup is expected for the weekend when highs will reach into the 30s!
