Winter Break Week at the Library - Feb 17-20 Come spend some time at the library this break! All events are best for elementary-aged patrons and free but please register on our website. All programs are generously sponsored by the Friends of the Huntington Woods Library. Monday, February 17: Everyday Engineering 12:30 PM-1:30 PM Who needs Angry Birds; we’ve got angry golf balls! In celebration of Engineering Week, we’ll be making our own catapults then using them to topple our angry golf balls. Tuesday, February 18: Treasure Box! 12:30 PM-1:30 PM We’re creating decorated treasure boxes to keep all the needful things we collect safe and sound. Treasure boxes are perfect for rocks, feathers, coins and other tiny treasures. What will you keep in yours? Wednesday: Legos and Kinex 12:30 PM-1:30 PM As Engineering Week continues, bring your design and building skills to the library and use our Legos and Kinex to build the ultimate structure. All pieces will remain on display in the library through March. Thursday, February 20: Show Time! 3PM-5PM What could be better than popcorn and a movie on the big screen? Choose between Brave, Wreck-It Ralph or Wallace and Gromit and the Curse of the Were Rabbit - cast your vote at the Youth Services Desk.
