Winter Storm forecast: I will do this in zones as the weather will be variable in each zone. Keep in mind that this will change as we go through the next 2 days. South central/SE Oklahima: Primarily an ice storm through Friday noon, going to snow, end by 6 PM Friday. Ice accumulations - up to an inch. With sleet and snow at the end with trace amounts possible by Friday night. I44 corridor (30 miles either side): From Lawton to OKC to Tulsa, primarily a snow event, mixed with sleet Thursday. Snow totals of 6-10 by 3 PM Friday. Lesser totals near Purcell to Shawnee to Okmulgee are possible as the sleet will mix in for longer periods of time. Western/northern Oklahoma: Lighter snow still possible. However 2-4 inches will fall be Friday. All snow will fall here. Areas near Weatherford, Enid and Perry could see up to 6 inches. All of Oklahoma over the weekend will see on and off snow with maybe an inch or two possible. Locally 3 inches. This will change as needed. Stay tuned for any updates. - Donald
