With the development of “in vitro or cultured” meat, livestock - TopicsExpress

With the development of “in vitro or cultured” meat, livestock farming and slaughter of animals for food must be reduced to a minimum and subsequently eliminated. Because food production is almost entirely owned by large private corporations, the consumers have a significant power to make this possible. When the private sector recognizes that cultured meat is more profitable then farmed, it will move “heaven and earth” to make this change happen. Large and small capital investors must also realize that cultured meat is the future of meat production. As technology grows, this new scientific way of “meat farming” will by far surpass the outdated (current) model of growing protoplasm in animal form. Although a vegetarian diet, in the eyes of many, was always an alternative, the true alternative (that no other civilization before us possessed) is the capability to grown meat outside of an animal.
